DESIGN FC AFTERSCHOOL
STETSER ELEMENTARY, 4TH + 5TH GRADE
Home base and where it all started. A free 22-week after school program, teaching young kids the core elements of creative thinking, self expression and storytelling through design. Our young designers spend most of the year creating their own autobiographical jerseys, where they visually express who they are, their dreams and aspirations, the social issues they believe in, and what means most to them.
Design FC has been the only dedicated art/design programming available to students at Stetser since its 2018
Developing the next generation of Design FC student leaders. Bringing Stetser graduates (who participated in Design FC as 4th and 5th graders) back to Stetser each week to learn the basics of coaching, become classroom leaders, and work on improving their own creative skills through independent design projects.

A specialized program that provides our oldest students with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to take the next step in their creative careers.
By leveraging industry connections we equip our students with high level design skills, provide them with a global platform to tell their stories, and create pathways for them to explore various creative fields.
A free 10-week after school program focused on introducing middle and high school students to various creative mediums, and building their hard design skills. Focus areas include graphic design, photography, and introducing students to the Adobe Creative Suite. Students also learn directly from Chester based artists and designers through interactive guest workshops.
